Ampudia, a medieval jewel that preserves the charm of another era.

Ampudia was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1965, and was awarded the C Tourism Prize in 1991 and the Provincial Tourism Prize in 2002. Its long history has known periods of prosperity in the past that have left us a wide patrimonial legacy. It is a small village typically Castilian, which still faithfully preserves its ancient structure, as well as its most representative monuments. Castle, church and nucleus have updated (2010) these mentions to the category of Cultural Interest Assets, according to the most recent legislation on heritage.
